The Muskegon Lumberjacks will battle three Western Conference opponents in the upcoming 2012 USHL Fall Classic.

The event, scheduled Sept. 19-22, will feature all 16 USHL teams and each will play three exhibition games during that time.

Muskegon, heading into its third season in the USHL, will begin play on Sept. 20 against the Western Conference champion Waterloo Black Hawks. That 11 a.m. game will be played at the IBP Ice Center.

The Jacks return to the ice at 5 p.m. on Sept. 21 against the Sioux Falls Stampede and at 2 p.m.l Sept. 22 against the Lincoln Stars. Both those games will be at the Tyson Events Center.

All listed times are Eastern time zone.

The USHL Fall Classic is a highly scouted event by National Hockey League personnel and NCAA Division 1 coaches.

Upon returning home from Iowa, the Jacks will have one week to get ready for their home opener, a battle with the U.S. National Team on Sept. 29 at L.C. Walker Arena.

Season tickets remain on sale for the 2012-13 season for $200 for the 32-game home portion of the schedule.
