Hrynewich shot rounds of 70-73-72 for a total of 215 in The Memorial Tournament at the Kinsale Golf and Fitness Club in Powell, Ohio.

The senior-to-be at Shores was third after the opening round, tied for second after two rounds and remained there after the third and final round.

In the final round, Hrynewich had one birdie on the front nine and two birdies and three bogeys on the back nine.

Joo-Young Lee, from Hilliard, Ohio, finished at 214. Hrynewich tied for second with Clark Engle of Springfield, Ohio.

There was some late-round drama in the final round. Lee, leading by three shots heading into the par-3 17th hole, put his ball into a water hazard and ended up with a 5. Hynewich’s par put him within one stroke with one hole left.

On the final hole, Engle had a par while Lee and Hrynewich both posted a bogey.
