Two Fruitport Trojan volleyball players have been chosen to play in the Mizuno USA/Michigan High School Volleyball Coaches Association All-Star Tournament.
The tournament will be played Friday in Battle Creek.
Both Lauren Hazekamp and Amber Carmean were instrumental in the Trojans’ run to the state championship last fall.
The event features the best senior players from across the state.
Hazekamp, a first-team all-state selection, and Carmean, a second-team all-stater, will be part of the four-team event. Each team will play two games.
There will be a pair of semifinal games and a championship match on Friday night to conclude the one-day tournament.
