For the second time this week, Mona Shores’ Hailey Hrynewich sets school record on golf course

Hailey Hrynewich improved on the Mona Shores school record again for 18 holes of golf.

Hrynewich shot a 70 on Friday in the OK Black preseason meet. That score broke the record she had set five days at earlier at the Jenison Invitational.

The Sailors shot a team score of 310, which was 97 shots better than runner-up Reeths-Puffer.

Other Mona Shores golfers included senior Britni Gielow at 79, senior Kelsey McKinley with an 80, senior Morgan Smith with an 81 and Rylee George at 85.

The Sailors occupied the top five places on the leaderboard.
