Local golfers Hailey Hrynewich and Aya Johnson made the cut Wednesday in the AJGA Stonehenge Open.

Hrynewich is tied for ninth after shooting a 77 in Wednesday’s second round. Johnson, from North Muskegon, shot a second-round score of 81. She is tied for 17th.

The top 19 golfers survived the cut and will return to the course, located in Winona Lake, Ind. The tournament started with 35 female golfers.

Failing to make the cut were Britni Gielow, who shot a 79 and had a two-day total of 162, and Kelsey McKinley, had shot 83 on Wednesday for a total of 168.

Catherine Li, from Kent, Wash., is the leader at 141. After shooting a 66 on  Tuesday, she came back with a 75 on Wednesday. She leads by one shot.
