Goals by Jacob Carlson and Nate Majeski carried the Mona Shores Sailors boys soccer team to a 2-0 victory over Holland on  Thursday.

Carlson’s first-half goal was assisted by Lance VanTine and Majeski, who scored in the second half, got help from Christian Fritz.

VanTine split a pair of defenders and fed a pass through two Dutch defenders to Carlson, who buried a shot in the back of the net.

Shores’ senior-laden defense kept the visitors at bay throughout the match.

With 10 minutes to play in the game, Majeski scored his first goal of the season on a pass from Fritz inside the box.

Goalkeeper Joey Wolffis posted another shutout in net, his third in four games.
