Whitehall native Nate McLouth delivered a key two-run triple Sunday in the top of the fourth inning and led the Baltimore Orioles to a 7-5 victory over the host Detroit Tigers.

McLouth tripled to deep right center that turned a 5-4 deficit into a 6-5 lead.

McLouth also singled in the game and finished 2-for-5. He also scored a run.

In his stint with the Orioles, McLouth is hitting .250.

He began the season in the National League with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He was released and signed with the Orioles, who assigned him to Norfolk of the International League (AAA) until his callup to the Orioles.
