Mona Shores goalkeeper Joey Wolffis posted his sixth shutout in seven games on Mondasy and led the Sailors to a 2-0 nonconference soccer victory over Whitehall.

Wolffis made four saves as Shores outshot Whitehall 8-4.

The Sailors (5-1-1) opened the scoring in the first half on a penalty kick by Nate Hoover. The penalty kick was awarded after Jordan Grotenhuis fired a shot past the goalkeeper that a Viking defender blocked with his hand as it sailed into the net.

In the second half, the Sailors dominated possession and were rewarded on a goal by Riley Williamson. Jacob Carlson sent him a pass off a free kick and Williamson buried the shot for a 2-0 lead.
