Brian Frisch carded an opening-round 70 on Friday at Old Channel Trail Golf Course to take the lead in the Muskegon County Golf Championship.
Erik Sanford and 2012 senior champion Jim McGannon are a stroke back with 71s, followed by Jordan Durga, Ryan Oosting and Scott Belcourt at 72.
A field of 60 players is competing in this weekend’s tournament.
