BOYS TENNIS
GRAND HAVEN

Coach: Jeremy Case.

With nine players returning, the Bucs hope to make waves in the tough OK Red Conference with the likes of Holland West Ottawa and Grandville.

The Bucs return three-year varsity player Korey Searle, a junior, along with junior DJ Thielbar and sophomore Varun Binnanda. Top newcomer at singles is senior Jeff Stevens.

There also is experience in doubles with Cam Rickard, a three-year varsity player, and Finn Heins at No. 1, a No. 2 doubles team of Ryan Peterson and Craig Peplinski, Adam Carlisle and Reid Murphy manning the No. 3 doubles and Bryce Peterson and Evan Miller at No. 4.

“Our goal is to make it difficult for these two games (West Ottawa and Grandville) to finish first and second, respectively,” Case said. “We do a lot of things the right way and with each match we play, our teams gets more confident.”
