Jim McGannon leads county golf tournament heading into final round

Jim McGannon owns a two-shot lead over Craig Porter and Eric Ruthkoski after two rounds of the Greater Muskegon Golf Association’s County Tournament.

Saturday’s second round was played at Old Channel Trail in Montague. McGannon has a two-round total of 145 while Porter and Ruthkoski are at 147.

On Sunday, the field heads to Grand View for the third and final round.

McGannon won the recent senior tournament.

Brian Frisch had shot a 70 on the first day at Old Channel and led after one round.
