BALTIMORE – Whitehall’s Nate McLouth hit a walk-off single in the Baltimore Orioles 3-2 win over the visiting Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday.
The left fielder McLouth, drove in Manny Machado who opened the inning with a single.
McLouth finished with a pair of hits, two RBI’s and a run, improving his batting average to .279 for Baltimore.
In Baltimore’s 9-2 win over Tampa Bay on Tuesday, McLouth added a pair of hits, an RBI and a stolen base.
The Orioles have won seven of their last 11 games in September and are currently tied with New York atop the AL East.
