The Newaygo Lions’ defense kept the Hesperia Panthers off the board on Friday in a 15-0 victory.
In the second quarter, the Lions would score all the points they would need on a safety then a 12-yard touchdown pass from Weston Butler to Tony Gill.
Newaygo capped the scoring in the third quarter on a 5-yard touchdown run by Max Harrington. Conor Bradley added the extra point to cap the evening’s scoring.
