Mike Mattson and Ron Rop remain atop the leaderboard in the Local Sports Journal’s weekly high school football picks.

The best performance of the week was turned in by Dave Tomczak, who picked 13 of the 16 games correctly. That record helped him escape the cellar in the overall standings.
