For the second time this week, the top-ranked Spring Lake Laker boys soccer team got a scare.
On Thursday, the Lakers received a penalty kick goal from senior Adam Clauss midway through the second half and defeated the Fruitport Trojans 1-0.
On Monday, Spring Lake (14-0) defeated Western Michigan Christian 4-3.
