The Grant Tigers are heading to the playoffs after coming through in a must-win situation at Whitehall on Friday night.

The Tigers defeated the Vikings 21-12 in a ‘win or go home’ scenario.

Whitehall scored first on a 6-yard touchdown pass from Steven Sika to Antwan Burks.

However, Grant raced to a one-score lead by halftime on the strength of a 20-yard touchdown pass from Garrett Bomay to Brennan Bonter and a 2-yard run by Coty Atwood.

The Tigers increased their lead in the third quarter when Riley Foster returned a kickoff 70 yards for a touchdown. From there, Grant’s defense stiffened and a playoff berth was gained.
