Hesperia’s chance to finish at .500 in the Central State Activities Conference fell by the wayside in a 36-17 loss to Chippewa Hills on Friday night.

Tha Panthers came into the game with a 3-4 conference and overall record, but fell to 3-5 overall and in the conference with the loss.

Hesperia closes out its season next Friday against Central Montcalm.
