Chase Smith passed for one touchdown and ran for two, but the Holton Red Devils dropped a 21-20 decision to Morley-Stanwood.
Smith completed 4-of-14 passes for 81 yards and a touchdown. He rushed 14 times for 65 yards and two touchdowns.
Running back Corey Sokolowski also had a solid game on both sides of the ball. He rushed 21 times for 120 yards and led the defense with 10 tackles.
Holton dropped to 1-7.
