Jacob Carlson set a school record with seven goals on  Tuesday night in Mona Shores’ 7-0 boys soccer victory over the Muskegon Big Reds.

Carlson scored four goals in the first half and three in the second as the Sailors improved their record to 13-1-1, 7-0 in the OK Black.

“He had the finishing touch and started with three goals in the first 5 minutes of the game,” Shores coach Jeremy Leffring said.

Also, goalkeeper Joey Wolffis tied the school record with his 11th shutout of the season. His first attempt at breaking the school record is Thursday against Kenowa Hills. Wolffis had three saves against the Big Reds.
