The Muskegon Catholic Central Crusaders made quick work of Muskegon Heights Academy in a nonleague football game on Friday night.
The host Crusaders (5-2) scored 40 first-half points and rolled up a 68-7 victory over the Tigers.
Alex Lewandoski rushed nine times for 112 yards and scored four touchdowns. He rushed for TDs of 38 and 10 yards and also returned a kickoff 89 yards for another score and caught a 12-yard touchdown pass.
Nick Holt rushed four times for 68 yards and scored on a 2-yard TD run.
Jessie Anderson scored on runs of 4 and 8 yards, Cari Campbell scored from 5 yards out and also had a touchdown pass to Lewandoski. Tommy Scott had an 8-yard touchdown run and Zach Winder scored from 45 yards out.
D’Montae Jones scored Heights’ lone touchdown on a 10-yard pass from Michael Stewart.
The Crusaders rushed 34 times for 346 yards.
Catholic hosts unbeaten Fruitport next week with a chance to gain an automatic playoff berth with a victory.
