The Muskegon Community College women’s soccer team was blanked 3-0 in a physical, fast-paced game.

Schoolcraft scored one goal in the opening half and two second-half goals.

Taylor Bunyak, Emily Behnke and Kayla Szado scored goals for Schoolcraft.

“MCC showed they could play with Schoolcraft by keeping possession of the ball most of the first half, however, soccer is crazy sport where you can control the ball and now win,” MCC coach Josh Watson said.

Watson said defensive midfielder Autumn Brodeur played a solid game for MCC.

“The ladies have improved so much this season and continue to make strides forward gunning for a regional spot in the playoffs,” Watson said.
