The Muskegon Lumberjacks scored two goals in the third period and upended the host Chicago Steel 3-1 on Friday night.

Brandon Flood scored in the opening period to give Muskegon a 1-0 lead.

With the game tied at 1-all after two periods, the Jacks scored the game’s only two goals in the third period and captured the victory.

Chris Leibinger scored his third goal of the season to give Muskegon a 2-1 lead and Tyler Heinonen added an insurance goal with assists to Adam Gilmour and Joe Cox.

The result made a winner of newcomer Kevin Lindskoug, who stopped 36-of-27 shots in the Lumberjacks’ net. He is a 20-year-old native of Sweden.
