Newaygo eliminated from Division 3 soccer tournament after loss to Tri-County

Brit Giese, Dakota Davis and Peter Sepinski scored one goal each in Newaygo’s 5-3 loss to Tri-County in a Division 3 boys soccer district game.

Tri-County moves on to the district semifinals to take on Grant, a 4-2 winner over  LeRoy Pine River.

Wednesday’s game is 3 p.m. at LeRoy Pine River.

The other side of the bracket will feature Comstock Park and Reed City at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Comstock Park defeated Belding 1-0 in overtime and Reed City defeated Lakeview 1-0.
