The Reeths-Puffer Rocket boys soccer team’s offense picked up an early goal Tuesday night and the Rocket defense held on for a shutout in a 1-0 victory over O-K Black rival Kenowa Hills.
Rocket Brandon Gillikin notched the lone score midway through the first half.
Reeths-Puffer collected 11 shots on goal to the Knights’ four. Rocket goalkeeper Troy Gilmore turned back all four of the shots, while Kenowa Hills’ Zack Toren finished with 10 saves.
