Spring Lake moves on to face Reeths-Puffer after the Lakers dispatched Muskegon Tuesday night 8-0 in the Division 2 first-round district match.

The Lakers remain undefeated at 18-0-1.

The Lakers’ Riley Kammeraad improved his school record 38-goal season with two  goals versus the Big Reds, while also adding an assist in the victory. Teammate KJ Sanchez also had two goals, and Adam Roberge and AJ Broughton each added single goals for Spring Lake. Adam Clauss and Austin Gabris both had two assists in the win.

The Lakers, which outshot the Big Reds 24-3, were led in goal by goalie tandem Joe Czajka and Conner Kippe.

The Big Reds’ Adrian Briseno finished with 16 stops.

Spring Lake is set to face off with the Reeths-Puffer Rockets Thursday at 6:45 p.m. at Spring Lake.
