Lauren Zeerip poured in 30 points, pulled down 18 rebounds and had 13 steals in Hesperia’s 50-16 girls basketball victory over Walkerville on Thursday night.
“Our defense and rebounding led to quick baskets,” said Hesperia coach Tom Welsh whose team lead 26-5 at halftime.
Jacki Pulsipher added a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds and Mariah Stitt added six points for the Panthers.
Walkerville’s Mandy Achterhof led with seven points while Brenda Diaz chipped in four points.
