The Muskegon Lumberjacks and Dubuque Fighting Saints are getting to know each other quite well.

After a two-game series at Muskegon’s L.C. Walker Arena last weekend, the teams will face one another twice this weekend in Dubuque.

Tonight’s game begins at 8:30 p.m. (Michigan time) and Saturday’s game is at 8:05 p.m.

The Jacks take a 9-2-1 record the weekend. That is good for 19 points in the USHL’s Eastern Conference standings. Dubuque, who has suffered just one loss in regulation through its first 12 games, has 21 points. Last weekend, the Fighting Saints defeated the Jacks 5-3 on Friday night with Muskegon coming back the next night to win 3-2.

This weekend could also signal the debut of a new player in the Muskegon lineup. James Wade, a native of Yorba Linda, Calif., has been added to the roster. He is a 17-year-old forward who is 6-foot-0, 173 pounds.

After this weekend’s action, the Jacks will return home to face the Indiana Ice at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at L.C. Walker Arena.
