Junior post player Bernard Smith put on a show under the basketball on Tuesday night and led the Western Michigan Christian Warriors to a
65-54 victory over North Muskegon.

Smith scored 27 points and pulled down 16 rebounds. He scored 19 points in the second half, including 10 in the final quarter in which
the Warriors scored 20 points.

WMC led 15-11 after one quarter and 29-24 at the half.

An 8-0 NM run in the third quarter gave the hosts a 42-40 lead. By quarter’s end, WMC led 45-44.

Henry DeKam, a senior, finished with 13 points, including seven in the final quarter. DeKam also had 13 rebounds. James Jackson added nine
points.

Sam Powell led North Muskegon with 13 points, including a trio of 3-pointers. Reese McCamant and Tony Gordon scored 10 points each.

The Warriors pulled away in the final quarter by making eight free throws. They were aided by two technicals fouls on North Muskegon in
the fourth quarter, four for the game.
