Big Rapids led 47-14 and never looked back en route to a 77-23 girls basketball victory over Hesperia on Wednesday night.
“They are a very good team,” Hesperia coach Tom Welsh said. “We played extremely hard for all 32 minutes.”
Alexi Bieri scored eight points to lead Hesperia and Miriah Stitt had six. Lauren Zeerip had nine rebounds.
Big Rapids was led by Kendra Enszer with 14 points and Kailey Hunt had 12. In all, four Big Rapids players finished in double figures.
