Morgan Shugars scored 12 points and added nine steals for Montague. Elyse Taylor had seven rebounds and four steals and Nicole Rumsey had six rebounds and three blocks.

“We took early control of the game by putting pressure on the ball,” Fremont  coach Bill Karnemaat said. “We were able to get steals and turn them into layups.

“Hailey Lensky  came off the bench and had a huge game both on the offensive side and by getting the defensive rebounds,” Karnemaat said. “By far her best effort of the year.”
