The visiting Kent City girls basketball team put up 27 first-quarter points on host Cedar Spring and never looked back, taking the OK Conference crossover contest 71-50.

Kent City’s Justine Wolter, a junior, scored a game-high 22 points, going 8-for-8 from the charity stripe to lead her team to victory.

Teammate Brandi Boehm added 17 points.

Cedar Springs was led by Molly Holtrop’s 20-point effort, while teammate Aly Hamilton added 17 boards and 13 points in the losing effort.
