Montague shoots down Ravenna in WMC boys basketball contest

Three players combined for 50 points on Thursday night and led the Montague Wildcats to a 71-49 victory over the host Ravenna Bulldogs.

Chase Casebolt led the way with 21 points, followed by Luke VanBoxel with 15 and Brandon Moore with 14. Casebolt also had nine rebounds and Moore had seven.

“Montague has a great program going with a strong senior class with a couple outstanding athletes,” Ravenna coach Mark VanderWal said. “They were able to roll a lot of bench support into the game, even when they in foul trouble early.”

Ravenna’s offense was led by Jacob Sied with 13 points and Kyle VanderWoude with 11.
