Muskegon Big Reds, led by Deshaun Thrower, slip past Benton Harbor in boys basketball

Junior Deshaun Thrower scored 25 points to lead the Muskegon Big Reds to a 70-67 boys basketball victory over the host Benton Harbor Tigers on Saturday.

Thrower also pulled down eight rebounds and had seven steals for the Big Reds. D’Vonte Dockery scored 20 points for Muskegon and Joeviar Kennedy, a sophomore, had 10 points.

Devin Alexander led the Tigers with 25 points.
