The Muskegon Lumberjacks overcame two deficits on Friday night and defeated the Indiana Ice 4-3 in a United States Hockey League game.
Muskegon trailed 2-1 after one period and 3-2 after two periods before scoring two goals early in the final period to gain the one-goal victory.
Tyler Heinonen led the Lumberjacks with a goal and an assist. Villiam Haag added a goal midway through the second period.
In the early minutes of the third period, Max Shuart tied the game at 1:27 with assistance from Adam Gilmour, who finished the game with two assists.
The game-winner came two minutes later from Chris Leibinger. That goal came at 3:45 of the third period.
Goaltender Kevin Lindskoug stopped 22-of-25 shots and earned the victory in net.
The Jacks had a 32-25 advantage in shots on goal.
Muskegon returns home to host the Fargo Force at 7:15 p.m. Saturday at L.C. Walker Arena.
