Oakridge boys suffer first loss of season, fall to Sparta

The Sparta Spartans overcame a four-point deficit heading into the final quarter and overcame the Oakridge Eagles 44-43 on  Thursday night.

A 16-11 scoring advantage in the final quarter gave  Sparta a one-point victory that saddled Oakridge with its first loss of the season.

Francis Decker led Oakridge (6-1) with nine points. Mike Eacker had eight and Dom Greenawalt had six.

Ben  Sheckler led Sparta with 18 points.
