Reeths-Puffer edges Grandville in high school hockey

Reeths-Puffer hockey remained undefeated, improving to 8-0 on the season with a 2-1 road win over Grandville Friday.

Ryan Compeau gave the Rockets a 1-0 lead with a second period goal and  Kyle Kendra scored in the third period to ensure the one goal win.

Grandville outshot R-P 25-18, but were stopped cold by Rockets goalie Aaron Andrews who finished the game with 24 saves.

Brandon Young, Tommy Roswell and Derreck Plenning had assists for Reeths-Puffer.
