Spring Lake let a first-quarter lead slip away as they lost to host Allendale 35-25 in a nonconference girls basketball game on Tuesday night.
The Lakers led 8-3 after one quarter and 16-11 at halftime, but was outscored 24-9 after halftime.
Brittany Beeler scored 10 points and Jewel Wiersma grabbed 10 rebounds for the Lakers.
