Grand Haven girls remain unbeaten with victory over Muskegon Big Reds

A late surge led the unbeaten Grand Haven  Buccaneer girls to a 59-44 victory over the Muskegon Big Reds on Friday night.

It was a one-point game until Grand Haven, ranked No. 2 the state, pulled away for the 15-point victory.

Hannah Wilkerson led the Bucs with 15 points, but it was the all-around monster game by Abby  Cole that was most impressive. Cole (6-foot-5) scored 10 points, pulled down 18 rebounds, blocked 13 shots and had five steals. Taylor Cramer added 14 points.

Jade Paige led Muskegon with 13 points.
