KENT CITY PLACES THIRD AT ALLENDALE WRESTLING INVITATIONAL

Kent City had the highest local finish at the 16-team Allendale Falcon Invitational wrestling tournament on Saturday.

Allendale won the title with 256 points, while Kent City finished with 145 points.

Hart (142) placed fifth and Reeths-Puffer (105) finished in ninth place.

Local champions were Reeths-Puffer’s JJ Covington (130), Hart’s Klayton Ruggles (135) and Spencer Reterstoff (152) and Kent City’s Shane Rodenburg (171).

Placing second were R-P’s Tyler Stenberg (140), Kent City’s Jayson Ellicott (145) and Konner Wolter (215).
