Chase Casebolt scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead Montague to a 70-50 win over host Mason County Central in a West Michigan Conference game.

The Wildcats led 19-11 after one quarter and 42-27 at halftime.

“Casebolt was really a load for us down low,” MCC coach Jeff Tuka. “They ruled in the paint. Montague was patient offense and didn’t take bad shots.”

Luke VanBoxel added 17 points for Montague and Brandon Moore scored 10 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Casebolt scored 14 of his points in the second half.

Kody Ambrose led MCC with 16 points and five rebounds.
