Orchard View overcame a halftime deficit to earn a 48-36 Lakes 8 win over host Spring Lake.

The Cardinals trailed 20-15 at halftime, but took the lead after three quarters with an 18-6 run in the third quarter.

Diamond McGee led the Cardinals with 24 points and Jayshonna Blackshire added 12 points and eight steals.

Molly Miedema led the Lakers with 12 points, Megan VanDeWeg added 10.

Jewel Wiersma grabbed 12 rebounds for the Lakers and Brittany Beeler had five assists.
