Ludington defense held down Orchard View in its 59-33 in girls basketball win on Friday night.
The Orioles held OV to single digits in the first, second and fourth quarters. Ludington led 28-10 at halftime.
D’Erika Varenhorst was too much down low scoring 21 points while grabbing 15 rebounds and dishing out six assist.
Logan Meeker scored 10 points, including a pair of 3-pointers, and also had nine assists for Ludington. Molly Hallead scored 11 points, Mekayla Steckel scored six points and had seven rebounds and Kalli Wahr had seven rebounds for the Orioles.
Diamond McGee led Orchard View the 16 points and Jayshonna Blackshire added nine points.
