Make it five straight victories for the Western Michigan Christian Warriors, who used a balanced scoring attack to defeat host Hudsonville Freedom Christian 66-38 on Friday night.

The Warriors (6-3) had 10 of 11 players score in the game, led by senior guard Nate Taylor, who scored a career high 17 points, including five 3-pointers.

“We played fast and did a good job of controlling the tempo,” said WMC coach Kyle Mastenbrook, whose travels to Spring Lake on Saturday.

WMC led 14-6 at the first stop and extended it to 32-11 at the half.

Junior post player Bernard Smith had nine points and eight rebounds. Henry DeKam had six steals and five assists. Sophomores Logan  Waller and Jacob Ray had seven points each.

John Koetsier led Freedom with 13 points.
