A total of 21 area high school bowlers are heading to next weekend’s state finals after solid regional showings on Saturday.

Of those 21, four bowlers finished first in their respective regions.

Orchard View’s Alex Lenartowicz finished first in Division 3 with a six-game total of 1,287. In Division 4, Western Michigan Christian’s Jacob Bush rolled a total of 1,341.

Girls regional champions included Mona Shores’ Ashley Cory with a 1,181 and Ravenna’s Stephanie Danklefsen with a 1,146.

The top 10 individuals from each regional qualified for the final meets.
