Muskegon Catholic guns down Freedom Christian in girls basketball

Muskegon Catholic fell behind by three points, but gained control of the game with a huge second quarter and went on to defeat Hudsonville Freedom Christian 49-25 on Thursday night.

The Crusaders trailed 10-7 after one quarter, but used a 23-2 scoring advantage in the second quarter to gain control of the game.

Katherine Salisz led the Crusaders with 14 points and Tootie Thompson added eight.
