The Muskegon Lumberjacks had four one-goal leads on  Friday night against the Youngstown Phantoms.

However, each time the visitors were able to tie the game, send in into overtime then won it in the shootout 5-4.

Joe Cox led Muskegon with a pair of goals. Tyler Heinonen and Ben Foster also scored for the Lumberjacks.

Goaltender Kevin Lindskoug faced 52 shots and stopped 48 in the game that was witnessed by 1,704 spectators at L.C. Walker Arena.

In the shootout, Youngstown outscored Muskegon 3-2 to gain the extra point in the standings.  Chad McDonald and Rasmus Bengtsson scored the Lumberjacks’ shootout goals.
