The Tri-unity Christian Defenders wrapped up another outright River Valley boys basketball crown on Saturday with a 58-43 victory over the Western Michigan Christian Warriors.
Tri-unity hit seven 3-pointers and made 21-of-30 from the free throw line to secure the victory.
Junior Bernard Smith led the Warriors with 16 points. Henry DeKam added nine points and Chaise Schuiteman had eight.
Daniel Cole led the host Defenders with 19 points and Matt Wachter added 13. Senior Joey Blauwkamp finished with 12 points, including 10-for-14 from the line.
WMC finishes up the regular season next Thursday when its hosts Tri-unity.
