Former Western Michigan Christian High School standout Evan Bruinsma scored two points in 19 minutes of action on Wednesday night in the University of Detroit’s 83-68 loss to Arizona State.

The game was a first-round matchup in the men’s National Invitational Tournament played at Arizona State.

It was a rough night for the Titans right from the start as they fell behind by 20-plus points in the first half.

The Titans did battle back to within 55-46 with 13 minutes remaining, but another ASU surge clinched the victory for the Sun Devils.

Bruinsma also had three rebounds for the Titans, who finished the season 20-13. Bruinsma, who began the season coming off the bench for the Titans, was in the starting lineup the last six games.
