Former Reeths-Puffer standout’s college season ends for Louisiana Tech

Chris Anderson, a graduate of Reeths-Puffer High School and now a junior at Louisiana Tech, saw his basketball season come to an end on Monday night.

Louisiana Tech dropped a 63-52 decision to Southern Mississippi in the second round of the Men’s NIT.

Anderson played 18 minutes and finished with four points and six rebounds. He also had one assist and one blocked shot.

Southern Mississippi, coached by Donnie Tyndall, who grew up in Ravenna, advances to Wednesday night’s quarterfinal game against BYU.

Louisiana Tech finished the season 27-7.
