Grand Haven clamped dodefensively over the middle two quarters to earn a 55-38 Class A district win over Kenowa Hills on Monday night.wn
The win sends Grand Haven into Wednesday’s district semifinals where they will play Fruitport at 6 p.m. at Mona Shores High School.
The teams were tied 16-16 after one quarter, but the Bucs outscored Kenowa Hills 26-12 over the middle two quarters to take a 42-28 lead into the final quarter.
Sean Steffel led the Bucs with 14 points, Kevin LeCroix added 13 and Ty VanWieren scored 12.
